AGM 2012

It’s that time again! The COGS AGM will be held during the next LAN at midday, 17/03/12 in LSR4 in the Student’s Union. It will consist of debate on motions submitted and then voting on them, plus the election of a new committee.

And you could be on that new committee!

For those who need no more convincing, all the information you need to know is available over at the COGS forum in the Serious Business section.

For those who do need more convincing, there’s more to the AGM than elections! You can also submit motions to do anything from amending the constitution to mandating the next committee to run more events. If you’d like a say in how COGS is run and the activities we do then head on over to the forum.

If you need any more information or have any questions please contact a committee member in any of the plethora of methods we provide.

First social and COGS LAN 1 sign-up

Our first social will be a simple meet and greet this Thursday 8PM at Bundy’s, where we hope to start console socials the fortnight after. The bar can be quite difficult to find; it’s just opposite Rack’s Bar and Kitchen, through the door and down the stairs. We’ll all be wearing our orange t-shirts, though, so you won’t be able to miss us. Just in case you do, though, the front door looks like this:
