There are a few programs we use pretty often and we recommend you install to make your life easier. All software listed here is absolutely free and will come in handy sooner or later!

• Some IRC Client – Our IRC chatroom is the place to be, follow the link to our IRC guide for much more useful info.
• Mumble – Voice communication program, handy for chatting with others while gaming.
• Steam – Online gaming platform with regular sales and a prerequisite for many of the most popular online games.
• DC++ – File sharing software used to quickly distribute game patches and free mods at LANs.
• Hamachi – Private networking tool, useful for playing games online which only support LAN play.
• 7-zip – Compression software. There are many other compression programs, but they are all pretty much the same. Feel free to ask if you are interested in the differences.
